Bead-utiful

I learned that you should feel when writing, not like Lord Byron on a mountain top, but like child stringing beads in kindergarten, - happy, absorbed and quietly putting one bead on after another.

I like to think about stringing songs together like a string of pearls, or a string of beads, but ultimately it has to be stuff that really works with the band, and gives a spin to the older material.

Never believe that true prayer consists in mere babbling, reciting so many psalms and vigils, saying your beads while you allow your thoughts to roam.

Yes I actually found bead quotes :O)
Seriously, this is our new fav activity.
We love to paint, but this is new and less messy so it is a winner in everyone's eyes.

Peace in Jesus,
Summur

  1. It's so fun to find a craft the kids just love. My older 3 girls are into card making these days - I'm glad they are creative (because I am not!) :) Have a great weekend, Summur!!!

  2. Except the first time one of them puts a bead up their nose then off to the Drs. office. Lets hope not! How fun they like doing those things. Love you and miss you and can't wait to see you
